Livestock Guardian Dog

Meet Aerion (pronounced Arr-ree-on), our incredibly important livestock guardian dog. Named after the legendary horse of Greek mythology, Aerion carries the spirit of his namesake—celebrated for immortality, intelligence, and heroic speed. In myth, Aerion saved Adrastus during a fierce battle, and our Aerion was named to mimic that loyalty and courage.

Born on July 22nd, 2023, Aerion is a Great Pyrenees cross with an incredibly big heart. Despite a serious injury that left him with a broken elbow, he's bravely undergone multiple surgeries and continues his rehab journey like a champ. Through it all, his sweet nature never wavered. He adores people, soaks up attention, and has a special fondness for belly rubs, bacon treats, and most importantly - knowing exactly where his goats are at all times. 

Our herd is infinitely safer with him around and we are so grateful every day.
